Login Process

  1. On the Login Page enter your User ID and Password and click Go.

Create User ID and Password

  1. On the Login Page click the Create User ID link.
  2. Answer the Security Verification question.
  3. Answer the Security Information questions.
  4. Follow the prompts to establish your User ID, Password, and "hint" question.
  5. Upon completion of the process you will receive a confirmation page indicating that your User ID and Password have been created.
Note
If you require assistance in creating a User ID, call 1-866-820-1492 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

Remember me Feature

  1. On the Login Page enter your User ID and Password or Pin into the given fields.
  2. Check the "Remember me" box.
  3. Click on "Login" to login.
Note
Once you check the "Remember me" box, your user ID will be saved on the computer you're using. Refer to Remember me pop up for more security tips.

Interactive Voice Response System

  1. To access the Interactive Voice Response System, you will need your Social Security/Account Number and your new Password.
  2. User IDs with special characters may not be used for authentication on the IVR.

Reset your Password

  1. On the Login Page enter your User ID.
  2. Click the Reset your Password link.
  3. Enter Last 4 digits of Social Security/Account Number.
  4. Answer the appropriate "hint" question.
  5. Enter a new Password.
  6. Upon completion of the process you will receive a confirmation page indicating that your Password has been created.

Having Problems?

  1. Password is case sensitive. Make sure it is entered exactly as it was originally created.
  2. Password can not be the same as your User ID.
  3. Make sure you are using your personal User ID and Password to login to Benefits OnLine®. Your Social Security/Account Number and PIN are no longer used for login.

Add a Bookmark (using Netscape Navigator)
To add a bookmark to Benefits Online®, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Bookmarks on the menu, and then click Bookmark This Page.
  2. On the Add Bookmark window, select the folder where you want to create the bookmark, and then click OK.
  3. Click Bookmarks on the menu, and then click Manage Bookmarks.
  4. Right-click the bookmark that you created for Benefits OnLine®, and then click Properties.
  5. In the Location text box, delete the number that appears after the www in the Benefits OnLine® address.
  6. Click OK to save your changes.


Provision Help
To create a secure User ID, please follow the rules listed below:

   Benefits OnLine User ID:

  1. Must be between 6 and 20 characters.
  2. May contain any of the following special characters: ~ . - _ { }.
  3. May contain all letters or at least 2 character types (numbers, letters, or special characters).
  4. May not contain any spaces.
  5. May not contain a period (.) at the end.
  6. May not be the same as, or include, your Social Security Number.
    1. 6.1. Avoid using any full or partial reference to a Social Security Number.
  7. May not be the same as the Password.


To create a secure Password, please follow the rules listed below:

   Benefits OnLine Password:

  1. Must be between 8 and 12 characters.
  2. Must include at least one number and one letter.
  3. Letters can be uppercase and/or lowercase.
  4. May not contain any spaces.
  5. May not contain special characters.
  6. May not be the same as your Benefits OnLine ID.
